In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Brickfish has teamed up with brands such as Estée Lauder and Mariah Carey to spread awareness online and inspire women everywhere.
Breast cancer continues to be one of the most prevalent diseases facing women today – it is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer. Thanks to early detection and treatment, an estimated 2.4 million women living in the U.S. have been diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer. These women continue to conquer the disease and go on to live happy, normal lives.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, sponsored by The Estée Lauder Companies, is proud to support this cause and gives women the opportunity to share their personal story of triumph - or honor someone they love who has battled this disease.
Women are invited to share their stories for a chance at winning some much needed pampering and products from Estée Lauder. From blogs about young survivors to beautiful photos of women and their support systems, these stories are sure to ignite the cause and make October 2008 prettier, pinker and more powerful than ever!
Aptly titled Luscious Pink, Mariah Carey’s new fragrance by Elizabeth Arden, is sure to drive some extra awareness by auctioning off an awe-inspiring dress for breast cancer research in the Design a Luscious Pink Dress for Mariah Carey Contest.
Entrants are invited to design a dress for Mariah Carey inspired by her fragrance and logo. The winning design will be selected by Mariah and a panel of fashion experts.
Three custom dresses will be made from the winning design; one to be adorned by Mariah for the world to behold, one for the contest winner to add to his/her own collection and one to be produced and auctioned off at a charity event benefiting Breast Cancer Awareness.
